BIA Higher Education Grant Program
The Woody Island Tribal Council administers a Bureau of Indian Affairs financial aid program for eligible students to enable them to attend accredited institutions of higher learning.

Eligibility
Members of the Woody Island Tribal Council who are enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, in an accredited college and have financial need as determined by the institution's financial aid office, are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

What to do
Individual student applicants must submit a certificate of Indian blood; college financial aid package; statement of acceptance by college of choice; and a BIA grant application. Selected scholarship recipients will be awarded the funds in care of the students' college or university financial aid offices
